11. Secure the Header

Steam Door

From inside the shower, hold the header down while sliding the header expander up to the ceiling.

Using the pre-drilled holes in the wall jambs as guides, drill through the header and expander using

a 1/8″ drill bit.

Secure the header in place using two #8 x 3/4″ ﬂathead screws.

Non-Steam Door

From inside the shower, press the header expander fully into the header.

Using the pre-drilled holes in the wall jambs as guides, drill through the header and expander using

a 1/8″ drill bit.

Secure the header in place using two #8 x 3/4″ ﬂathead screws.
